If you've kept up-to-date with our blog page here at Beverly Hills BMW, then it's likely you caught our prior post, in which we profiled our midsize-sedan standout, the 5 Series.

Switching gears a bit, today we turn our attention to the 5 Series' bigger, brawnier brother, the 2017 7 Series.

Check the clip below to learn more about it from carwow commentator Mat Watson:

Shoppers who stick with the 7 Series' base trim -- the 740i -- will enjoy a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that turns out a terrific 320 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. Standard fare includes an eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The xDrive all-wheel system, meanwhile, is offered as an option.

The range-topping 750i model takes things a step further. Propelled by a 4.4-liter turbo V8, the 750i produces a prodigious 445 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque.

If you'd like to meet this mind-boggling machine "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our Los Angeles, CA location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the 7 Series, or any other BMW model that's caught your eye.
