BMW's 7 Series is renowned for its luxuriousness - it's a big sedan that has all of the features and amenities one would expect in the Bavarian automaker's flagship model. But can a 7 Series do double-duty as a high-performance sports sedan? That's what AutoGuide set out to investigate, when it reviewed the all-new 2018 BMW M760i. Click "play" in the video clip below to watch the full report.

The M760i certainly has the performance chops under the hood: it's equipped with a massive 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 that pumps out 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. That's enough to blast this sedan from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. The M760i also comes standard with BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system, to guarantee maximum traction.

BMW also makes clever use of electronics and mechanics to ensure this two-ton vehicle can handle like a sport-tuned 3 Series. It uses active roll stabilization to provide maximum stiffness while still being forgiving over rough roads. The all-wheel drive is rear-biased but variable, and provides agility at low speeds and stability at the high end of the speedometer. Select Sport mode, and the result is crisp and precise steering along with a shift in torque from front to back, which brings the M760i both in and out of turns with the feeling of full control.
