Exterior Design
As with previous model-years, the 2026 BMW M4 offers staggered wheel layouts, with the M4 Coupe offers 18-inch M alloy wheels in the front and 19-inch wheels in the rear. Competition models come with 19-inch wheels in front and 20-inch wheels in the rear. Redesigned headlights are standard for Coupe and Convertible models, along with redesigned M badging, new color options like High Gloss Black / High Gloss Red, and 3D animations for headlights and taillights.
Interior Design
On the inside, 2026 BMW M4 Coupe and Convertible models make it easy to stay comfortable. Multi-function steering wheels come standard, with heating available as an option. Sport seating, ambient cabin lighting, quality materials, and unique details separate the M4 cabin design from competing models.
Performance
The new 2026 BMW M4 model line uses twin-turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engines, producing up to 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The Competition trim boosts output to 503 hp and 479 lb-ft for even more power on the road. Drivers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission, with Rear-Wheel Drive standard across the board and All-Wheel Drive optional for the M4 Competition.
Technology
The new 2026 BMW M4 comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel for information/alerts, plus a 14.9-inch touchscreen media display. iDrive 8.5 is standard for all M4 models, along with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a premium Harman Kardon audio system.
Safety
