Exterior Design
The new BMW X2 builds on its recent exterior update in 2025, larger in size and frame than previous models and capturing attention with bold LED headlights/taillights with daytime illumination. 19-inch light alloy wheels balance strong performance and stylish design, while a sport-inspired gloss kidney grille offers a confident edge to the front end and a power liftgate adds convenience.
The M Sport Package is available for added style and sport performance, offering 19-inch M Sport wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, and M Sport design accents. The M Sport Professional Package adds black mirror caps, a rear spoiler, and dark exterior details, while the Convenience Package comes with power-folding side mirrors. The top-level M35i trim also offers 20-inch wheels, M Sport details, and an illuminated grille.
Interior Design
The BMW X2 seats five passengers, offering up to 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in place. The model's maximum cargo capacity is 51.7 cubic feet, with 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats allowing you to maximize your cabin's room.
Leather-free upholstery is included for the xDrive28i base model, along with power-adjustable heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting. Sport seats and a sport steering wheel are included with the M Sport Package, while the Convenience Package offers keyless entry, noise-reducing windows, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a panoramic sunroof. You can also opt for a heated steering wheel for your new X2.
Performance
New BMW X2 SUVs use a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing up to 241 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. xDrive All-Wheel Drive is available, along with a high-output engine for the M35i xDrive trim, delivering up to 312 horsepower.
The M Sport Package offers adaptive suspension dampers and performance brakes, complete with blue calipers, while the M Sport Professional Package comes with unique red brake calipers. M35i models also offer adaptive dampers and performance brakes.
Technology
The BMW X2 is equipped with a standard 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto controls. Wireless smartphone charging is available, along with a premium Harman Kardon sound system and built-in navigation.
Other optional tech systems for the X2 include a head-up display, interior camera, augmented reality view for built-in navigation displays, and a universal garage door opener.
Safety
New BMW X2 models come with standard Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection, and Lane Departure Warning. Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and other advanced systems are optional.
