For increased performance, an available turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine is standard for the M50i model, increasing output to 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. 8-speed automatic transmission is standard for the base model, with xDrive All-Wheel Drive available.

Technology

Staying connected is never an issue with the 2023 BMW X5, as the latest model comes with a 12.3" touchscreen interface for media and a 12.3" digital instrument panel for driving information/alerts. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, built-in navigation, and a 10-speaker audio system are standard features. Available add-ons include a Head-Up Display, gesture-based infotainment controls, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
